Do I need special experience to join?+
No. Community members can participate in many ways, and volunteer opportunities are matched to a range of skills and availability.
What happens after I create an account?+
You receive a member or volunteer dashboard where you can track events, missions, donations and profile status.
Giving and participation
How are donations processed?+
Paystack securely processes payments. SHAKERS verifies successful transactions server-side and emails a receipt.
Can I attend an event without being a member?+
Yes. Public events accept guest registrations, though an account gives you a central record of your activity.
How will I hear about new opportunities?+
Subscribe to the newsletter for stories and invitations, or use your volunteer dashboard to see upcoming events.
Businesses and partners
What does a SHAKERS partnership include?+
Partnerships can include resources, expertise, sponsorship or reach. Approved partners may receive a dedicated public business showcase page.
Can a partner choose its page address?+
Yes, subject to availability and reserved routes. A slug such as bestfood becomes shakerscommunity.org/bestfood.
Does SHAKERS endorse every business claim?+
Partner pages identify information supplied by the business. SHAKERS verifies the partnership but partners remain responsible for their business details.
