Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, join a campaign, register for an event, apply, comment, contact us, subscribe or donate. This can include your name, email address, phone number, location, interests and participation records.
How we use it
We use information to deliver the service you requested, manage community participation, communicate confirmations and opportunities, improve programs, prevent abuse and maintain accurate financial and impact records.
Payments
Paystack processes payment card information. SHAKERS stores the donor details, amount, reference and verification status required for receipts and records, but does not store complete card details.
Email and newsletters
Brevo delivers transactional messages and newsletters. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe using the link in marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional messages may still be sent when needed to complete a requested service.
Storage and sharing
Application records are stored in TiDB Cloud and processed by services needed to operate the site. We do not sell personal information. We share only what is required with service providers or when law requires it.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete eligible personal information by emailing info@shakerscommunity.com. Some financial or security records may need to be retained.
Security and updates
We use role-based access, password hashing, secure cookies and server-only secrets. No internet service is risk-free. We may update this notice as the platform evolves and will publish the current date above.
